Hi Kathy its much easier to buy ready prepared but its usually a lot more expensive.Do you use the carrot containers for anything else when you have finished with them? They look like they could be good for puddings.
The little cups are definitely more expensive than a raw carrot or even a large can of carrots would be. (And I do use raw or canned for other things.)
These are great for a lot of my purposes though, so they are one of the times that fast and easy (and perfect little size and consistancy) outweighs cheap for me. :D
I don't save the cups for anything. They are pretty flimsy, but they could be handy to reuse a few times if you needed little cups that size for something. They probably would work great to make your own pudding cups.
They might also be a good small disposible bowl for kids, although, given their shape, they could be a bit top heavy and spill easily.
I have nominated you for the Versatile Bloggers Award, please check out my blog on Monday, February 5th. I hope this award will bring you many new followers to your blog.
Do you still have some non-Walmart brand ones in your pantry? What brand are they? I couldn't find any such thing at my grocery.
ReplyDeleteI don't know, but I'll check on it.
DeleteI looked and all the ones I have are Great Value.
